Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of obtaining a slide rail device for a vehicle that makes it possible to eliminate the possibility that the hands, feet, and the like of a passenger who is sitting in a seat come into direct contact with the front edge section or the rear edge section of an upper rail, and that makes it possible to reduce the possibility that the hands, feet, and the like of a passenger enter the interior space of the upper rail via a lower surface opening in the upper rail. As a means of solving this problem, a slide rail device for a vehicle is provided with a channel-shaped roller rail (21) that extends in the front-back direction, an upper rail (30) that forms a channel shape having an open bottom surface and that slidably supports the roller in the front-back direction, an open end section that is formed on at least one of the front surface and the rear surface of the upper rail, and an end cap (80) that comprises an end surface cover section (81) that covers the peripheral end section of the open end section. In addition, the end cap is provided with a lower surface-closing section (89) that blocks the lower surface opening of the upper rail.
