Abstract:
A slide rail unit with a holding function enabling the automatic drawing of a second rail (2) to an end position when the second rail is stored in a first rail (1) and enabling the holding of its state and easily manufacturable with less number of parts at low cost. The slide rail unit comprises a holding pin (30) vertically installed on the first rail (1) movably in the longitudinal and lateral directions thereof, an elastic member (31) energizing the holding pin (30) to the stroke end of the second rail (2), a pin guide member (32) installed on the first rail (1), locking the holding pin (30) at a wait position apart from the stroke end against the energizing force of the elastic member (31), and guiding the holding pin (30) disengaged from the wait position to the stroke end according to the energization by the energizing force, and a cam member (33) installed on the second rail (2) and disengaging the holding pin (30) from the wait position on the pin guide member (32) as the cam member is overlapped with the pin guide member (32) and locking the holding pin at the stroke end.
