Abstract:
A slide rail unit that has sufficient load carrying ability, where each rail has sufficient rigidity to prevent reduction in movement accuracy of a movable body when it is moved, that has a stroke amount and load carrying ability of the same level as those of conventional products, and that can be reduced in size. The slide rail unit has rails each formed in a channel shape having a base and a pair of flanges formed by bending the base, and the rails are assembled together in sequence with a large number of balls in between the rails. Rolling of the balls enables adjacent rails to move forward and backward in the longitudinal direction. Each rail has, in the flange sections, ball rolling grooves formed by rolling.
