Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a slide-type cosmetic container wherein a cosmetic containing section is highly airtight when closed. [Solution] A containing case 3 is provided with: a top plate 3a for covering the upper surface 2e of a container body 2 contained in the containing case 3; and case side plates extending vertically downward from both edges of the top plate in the direction intersecting a sliding direction. The container body is provided with: a cosmetic containing section 2a; annular packing 5 protruding upward and surrounding the cosmetic containing section; and container sidewalls which, in a state in which the container body is contained in the containing case, face the case side plates. Either the case side plates or the container sidewalls are provided with slide rails 3d protruding toward the other, and the other are provided with slide grooves 2g with which the slide rails engage when the container body moves and slides. When the container body is contained in the containing case while the annular packing is pressed against the top plate, the slide rails are engaged with the slide grooves so that the annular packing is uniformly in contact with the top plate.
