Abstract:
A slide type guide mechanism capable of automatically tightening an adjustment screw member for eliminating rattling. The mechanism comprises a guide (22) in which a guide groove (30) having first and second guiding side faces (26) and (28) extending along straightlines parallel with each other is formed, a screw hole extending from the external one side face of the guide along the guide groove and passed to the first guiding side face (26), a slide (24) guided by the guide groove, a screw member threaded to the screw hole to impart, to the slide, a force from the first guiding side face side to the second guiding side face side so as to press the slide against the second guiding side face of the guide groove, and a torque imparting means (54) imparting, to the screw member by a spring, a rotating torque acting so that the screw member can be threaded and moved along the guide groove.
