Abstract:
Disclosed is a slider for a slide fastener having a flexible upper wing piece (52) and lower wing piece (53), and configured in such a way that zipper teeth are thrust into a tape insertion passage when a lateral pulling force is applied to a left and right pair of first and second fastener stringers (16, 17). Accordingly, the application of a lateral pulling force to the left and right first and second fastener stringers (16, 17) results in the expansion of the width of the tape insertion passage of the slider and the separation of the zipper teeth rows. Thereupon the first and second fastener stringers (16, 17) which are engaged can be readily switched to a disengaged state.
