Abstract:
A slider for a slide fastener is provided. Engagement sections (41a, 41b) formed on the inner surfaces of both ends of a pull tab holding body (40) in the front-rear direction thereof are elastically fitted in and affixed to engagement sections (22, 32) formed on the front surface of a first column section (20) of an upper wing plate (11) and on the rear surface of a second column section (30) of the upper wing plate (11), and at the same time, a pair of protrusions (42, 42) formed on the inner surface of the pull tab holding body (40) is fitted into a recess (23) formed in a sloped surface (21a) of the first column section (20) and into a recess (33) formed in a sloped surface (31a) of the second column section (30). Also, stepped sections formed on both side edges at both ends of the pull tab holding body (40) in the front-rear direction thereof are made to be in contact with the inner surfaces and end surfaces of support walls (24, 24, 34, 34) raised from both edges of the sloped surfaces (21a, 31a). The configuration increases the holding force of the pull tab holding body (40) in the front-rear direction, the left-right direction, the oblique direction, and the top-bottom direction against an extremely strong operational force due to the operation of a pull tab (18). Thus, the slider for a slide fastener is configured so that the pull tab holding body has increased mounting strength and also has excellent durability for a long period of time and so that the slider for a slide fastener has an appearance with excellent design and can be extremely easily assembled.
