Abstract:
Provided is a slider for a slide fastener, the slider being made from an aluminum alloy which combines practical strength with suitability for plastic working. The slider for a slide fastener comprises, as a base material, an aluminum alloy which contains 9.6-12.0 mass% Si and 1.5-3.5 mass% Cu, with the remainder comprising Al and unavoidable impurities, the concentration of Pb in the unavoidable impurities being 0.01 mass% or lower. The slider includes a slider body (100) and a pull-tab attachment bar (120) formed on the slider body (100).
