Abstract:
In a slider (10) for a slide fastener, an upper blade (21) is formed with a recessed portion (30) recessed from an upper surface (21a) and open to a rear end surface (21b). The recessed portion (30) has a stepped portion (31) formed at the front and a notch (32) formed at the rear, the notch penetrating to a lower surface (21c). A rear end (28) of a handle mounting post (24) is located below the upper surface (21a) of the upper blade (21) over the entire circumference and has an engaging part (35) that engages with the recessed portion (30). An entire lower surface (28a) of the rear end (28) forming the engaging part (35) is located below the upper surface (21a) of the upper blade (21).
