Title:
SLIDING COMPONENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/088353
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to enable the discharge of foreign bodies and bubbles that have entered a negative pressure-generating groove. As one of a pair of sliding components, a rotating-side sliding component rotates in the forward and reverse directions, and is characterized in that positive pressure-generating grooves 11, 11' positioned on the sealed fluid side are formed on the sliding surfaces of the sliding component on at least one side, and a negative pressure-generating groove 13 is provided positioned on the opposite side from sealed fluid and separated from the opposite side from sealed fluid by the land part R, a deep groove 14 which communicates with the sealed fluid side is provided further to the sealed fluid side than the negative pressure-generating groove 13, the upstream ends of the positive pressure-generating grooves 11, 11' communicate with the deep groove 14, the inlet part 13a on the upstream side and the outlet part 13b on the downstream side of the negative pressure-generating groove 13 are connected by the deep groove 14, and an intermediate part 13c between the inlet part 13a and the outlet part 13b is positioned on the opposite side from sealed fluid than the inlet part 13a and the outlet part 13b.
