Abstract:
Provided is a sliding component capable of exhibiting stable sliding performance under various conditions. At least one of opposing surfaces 11, 21 of mutually opposing rings 10, 20, disposed in positions that rotate relative to one another when a rotating machine is driven, has formed therein a convex curved surface portion forming at least a portion of the opposing surface.
