Abstract:
A sliding device (1) excellent in seizure resistance more than a conventional device, comprising a swash plate (3) rotated in association with a rotating shaft (2) and a plurality of hemi-spherical shoes (4) in slidable contact with the swash plate (3). The hemi-spherical shoes (4) are formed of a ferrous material, and the swash plate (3) are manufactured by using a high tensile brass. A large number of micro annular swelled parts (7') are formed on the sliding surfaces (4A) of the shoes (4) by laser hardening, and a lubricating oil passage (10') formed of a net-like recessed part is formed therein.
