Abstract:
A sliding door device is provided with a frame case, a sliding door which moves relative to the frame case in the sliding directions, a rack gear which is provided to the sliding door, a shaft which is affixed to the frame case, and a pinion gear which is affixed to the shaft and meshes with the rack gear. When assembling the sliding door device, an air mix damper is inserted into the frame case in the direction which coincides with one of the sliding directions. A first mark is provided to the frame case, and a second mark is provided to the shaft in such a manner that the matching of the position of the second mark with the position of the first mark allows a predetermined tooth of the rack gear and a predetermined groove of the pinion gear to engage with each other.
