Abstract:
A sliding door support device (100C) comprises a guide rail (150C) that extends in the front-rear direction and a roller unit (180C) that moves along the guide rail (150C). The roller unit (180C) is configured such that, when a sliding door moves between the fully closed position and the fully opened position, a state in which the hinge axis (Axh) is positioned more in the opening direction than the rotation axis of a guide roller (181) is maintained, irrespective of the position of the sliding door. The guide rail (150C) has a first curved part (151C) that is curved inward in the width direction of a vehicle toward the closing direction and a second curved part (152C) that is curved outward in the width direction from the end part of the first curved part (151C) in the closing direction toward the closing direction.
