Abstract:
A sliding material, comprising a resin porous body soaked with a lubricating oil and having communication holes at a ratio of 30% or more. The resin porous body having the communication holes is obtained by molding a resin mixed with a pore forming material into a molded body and extracting the pore forming material from the molded body by using a refrigerant in which the pore melting material is molten and the resin is not molten. A sliding bearing comprises a sliding material formed of the sliding material having a sliding surface sliding on a mating material to support the sliding material, and a lubrication oil supply layer formed of a metal sintered body for supplying the lubricating oil.
