Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a sliding member in which adhesion between a substrate and a resin is enhanced, and which has excellent durability whereby peeling of a resin film from the substrate does not occur due to prolonged sliding even under harsh load conditions; a method for manufacturing the sliding member; and a compressor swash plate that uses the sliding member. This sliding member is provided with a substrate (11) in which an uneven part (13) irradiated with laser light having an energy intensity per unit area of at least 0.053 J/mm2 and formed in a perpendicular direction by the irradiated laser light, and a melted and solidified portion on the uneven part (13) are formed, and a resin film (12) including a solid lubricant and a binder resin formed on the substrate (11).
