Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a sliding member for a pump with which the incidence of wear products can be quickly and accurately ascertained even if wear products were produced as the sliding member slides while being in contact with another member, and a pump operation state detection system for a pump that utilizes the sliding member for the pump. [Solution] A pump operation state detection system (10) is equipped with: a uniaxial eccentric screw pump (20); a detection device (100) that is capable of detecting metal powders in a fluid discharged from the uniaxial eccentric screw pump (20); and a determination device (120). The uniaxial eccentric screw pump (20) has therein a stator that is disposed so as to be exposed to a fluid conveyance path (56) through which the fluid flows. The stator is to slide while being in contact with a rotor with operation of the uniaxial eccentric screw pump (20). The stator is made of a resin or rubber and contains 10-30% of metal powders in terms of weight ratio.
