Abstract:
A sliding member consisting of carbon fiber−reinforced plastics containing an epoxy resin composition and carbon fibers, wherein the dimension change ratio, at 25°C and by swelling using petroleum, pure water and alkaline aqueous solution, of the cured product of an epoxy resin composition is up to 0.5% in either case&semi and a pump using this. The sliding member, when fluid such as petroleum, water, aqueous solution is used, is small in dimension change by the swelling of fluid and can limit a clearance to within a constant range. The pump is excellent in stability and efficient.
