Abstract:
Disclosed is a sliding member provided with a Cu bearing alloy layer mainly composed of Cu containing hard particles and with a DLC layer laminated on the Cu bearing alloy layer. At least a portion of the hard particles contained in the Cu bearing alloy layer is exposed to the surface on the side of the DLC layer.
