Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a sliding part capable of sealing, as a fluid to be sealed, not only a liquid such as oil but also oil mist which is a mixture of oil and air, and furthermore, capable of reducing the occurrence of the oil mist itself and reducing sliding loss. [Solution] In this pair of sliding parts that slide relative to each other on a sliding surface S, the sliding surface S of at least one of the pair of sliding parts is provided with: a fluid inlet groove 12 having one end communicating with a peripheral edge 4b on the other side of the sliding surface S; a dynamic pressure generation groove 11 having one end communicating with the peripheral edge 4b on the other side of the sliding surface S and the other end surrounded by a land portion; and an open groove 13 provided in the land portion and communicating with the fluid inlet groove 12.
