Abstract:
Provided is a sliding seismic isolation device which has high durability and can achieve much lower friction properties. This sliding seismic isolation device 10 is configured from: an upper shoe 1 and a lower shoe 2 respectively having a sliding surfaces 1c and a sliding surface 2c which are curved; and a steel sliding body 3 provided between the upper shoe 1 and the lower shoe 2 and having an upper surface 3a and a lower surface 3b that are curved and contact the respective shoes 1,2 wherein a double fabric layer 5 is attached, through an adhesive layer 4, on the upper surface 3a and the lower surface 3b of the sliding body, the double fabric layer 5 is formed of PTFE fibers 5a, 5b and fibers 5c, 5d having higher tensile strengths than the PTFE fibers 5a, 5b, and the PTFE fibers 5a, 5b are located on the sliding surface 1c, 2c sides of the upper shoe 1 and the lower shoe 2. A fluorine-coated layer 6 is present on the surface of the double fabric layer 5, and a lubricant oil layer 7 is present on the surface of the fluorine-coated layer 6.
