Abstract:
A sliding type merchandise display shelf used in a supermarket, etc. With the shelf, pieces of merchandise located at the innermost sections of the shelf are readily moved to the front and new pieces of merchandise are easily supplemented. Further, the shelf does not shake when the center of gravity moves forward when a sliding shelf is pulled out. A sliding type merchandise display shelf has a shelf plate body (12) installed between a pair of brackets (c, c) supported at slits (d, d) of supporting columns (b, b) on both sides and has a sliding shelf (11) installed so as to be movable above the shelf plate body (12), within a predetermined stroke in the front-back direction. Sliding members (114, 126) are attached to either or both of the upper surface of the shelf plate body (12) and the back surface of the sliding shelf plate (11).
