Abstract:
A device for controlling slip of a wheel at the time of starting of and during traveling of a vehicle by operating, when required, friction resistance-increasing means at appropriate intensity. The device has friction resistance-increasing means (1) for increasing friction resistance between a wheel and a road surface, a controller (5) for operating the friction resistance-increasing means (1) based on the occurrence condition of slipping of a driving wheel (2a), and an independent operation-inhibiting switch for inhibiting the operation of the friction resistance-increasing means (1) by the decision of a driver. Thus, the friction resistance-increasing means (1) is prevented from unnecessarily operating in such cases when the driver decides a collision can be sufficiently avoided, and when the driver changes the direction of a vehicle (A) by intentionally causing a wheel to slip.
