Abstract:
Disclosed is a slitter device provided with rotation shafts which are rotatably supported, and cutters which are fitted over the rotation shafts. The rotation shafts each contain a solid shaft center member; an outer tubular member, the interior of which is sealed, with the shaft center member fitted inside; and a liquid pressure regulating means which is disposed in a portion of a passage communicating within the gap between the outer tubular member and the shaft center member. That portion of the shaft center member which is contained in the outer tubular member comprises a plurality of protruding walls at predetermined axial intervals, the aforementioned plurality of protruding walls being formed along the side surface outer periphery. Liquid chambers partitioned by the protruding walls communicate with one another via the gaps between the shaft center member and the protruding walls. Furthermore, not only is liquid filled into the gaps between the shaft center member and the protruding walls and into the liquid chambers, but also the liquid is pressurized by the liquid pressure regulating means, with the result that the rotation shaft is expanded radially outward.
