Abstract:
A slot-in type disk device of which the thickness can be reduced without lowering
the strengths of a lever and a base body. A chassis exterior is formed of the base
body (10) and a cover body. A disk insertion hole (11) in which a disk is directly
inserted is formed in the front surface of the chassis exterior. An opening (2)
is formed in a part of the base body (10) and a plate (1) having a thickness smaller
than that of the base body (10) is fitted into the opening (2) to form a space recessed
from the cover side surface of the base body (10). The upper portion of the space
is used as the operating area of the disk-drawing lever.
