Abstract:
A high performance, small-sized, and low cost slotless motor, comprising a winding structure. In the winding structure, a rotor comprises a core and a winding fixed onto a shaft, the core comprises a circular surface-like side-surface part opposed to a field magnet and both end surfaces on the axial both sides of the shaft, and the winding formed of a plurality of segments is wrapped around the side-surface part and the end surfaces of the core. The winding of a plurality of turns forming the segment of the winding is orderly wrapped about the shaft symmetrically in the lateral direction so that these turns are not intersected with each other. The segments of the winding are orderly disposed at least on the side-surface part of the core in the direction parallel with the axis of the shaft so that a clearance is not produced between the winding parts on both sides of the core which are disposed symmetrical with each other. Also, the segments are orderly disposed on both end- surfaces of the core by deflecting to the radial outer side to avoid the shaft at the center part of the end-surfaces of the core.
