Abstract:
When a joint margin of a cardboard sheet is formed by a slotter of a box forming machine, an uncut portion must be formed between a slotter scrap and a flap scrap corresponding to an arbitrary shape of the joint margin to prevent scattering of flap scraps, and to prevent adhesion failure of joint margins and mixture of a flap scrap into a cardboard sheet. An upper slotter knife (10) is formed to be divided into a slotter knife main body (12) and a division body (14), and the relative position between the division body (14) and a slide body (26) in which a flap cutter knife (30) is embedded is determined and fixed so that a gap (L) between a notch (18) formed on a part of a cutting blade (15) of the division body (14) and a blade edge of the flap cutter knife (30) is minimized. Thereby, even if the sizes or shapes of the cardboard sheet (1) or the joint margin (5) are different, due to the presence of the notch (18), an uncut portion (9) can be inevitably formed between the slotter scrap (7) and the flap scrap (8). Because the uncut portion (9) is formed, the flap scrap (8) and the slotter scrap (7) can be removed together, and thus, scattering of the flap scrap (8), adhesion failure of the joint margins, etc., can be prevented.
