Abstract:
A slow cooker for use in heating and cooking of food, applicable in the technical field of kitchen appliances, comprising a housing (1000). A control circuit component and an inner pot (2000) used for holding food are provided in the housing (1000). The inner pot (2000) is retrievably provided in the housing (1000). A temperature detection component (3000) used for temperature detection is provided on the sidewall of the inner pot (2000). A mounting base (4000) connected with the housing (1000) is provided under the inner pot (2000). A liftable/lowerable heating apparatus (5000) is provided on the mounting base (4000). The heating apparatus (5000) comprises a heating component (5100) and a lifting/lowering mechanism (5200) capable of lifting/lowering the heating component (5100). With the slow cooker, the temperature detection component (3000) provided allows precise monitoring of the temperature of the inner pot (2000) and ensures the quality of food cooked, while the lifting/lowering mechanism (5200) provided allows adjustments of the distance at which the inner pot (2000) is heated and preheating of the inner pot (2000), thus increasing the efficiency in food cooking. The slow cooker has a lower power consumption, conserves energy, is environmentally friendly and convenient to use.
