Abstract:
A method of reducing an interrupted or discontinuous voice in a digital slowed-down voice reproducing circuit used in an audio-visual (AV) appliance, wherein, when an amount of stored voice data is larger than a specified upper limit, voice data is read at a speed higher than is specified by reproducing-speed information, and voice data is read at a speed lower than is specified by reproducing speed information when it is smaller than a specified lower limit, whereby voice can be reproduced without interruption.
