Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a carbohydrate-derived energy-supplying agent which has slow digestibility and long-acting digestibility functions. Provided, according to the present invention, is a slowly-digestible long-acting energy-supplying agent containing a saccharide composition that satisfies (A), (B), (C), and (D): (A) the ratio of α-1,6 bonds relative to all glycoside bonds is 60% or more; (B) the content, relative to all saccharides, of saccharides having a degree of polymerisation of 1 or 2 is 9 mass% or less; (C) the content, relative to all saccharides, of saccharides having a degree of polymerisation of 3-30 is 41 mass% or more; and (D) the content, relative to all saccharides, of saccharides having a degree of polymerisation of 31 or more is 50 mass% or less.
