Abstract:
A sludge concentration device has a differential rotary concentration machine (80), an electric power detector (87) arranged in a tank (88) for receiving sludge concentrated by the differential rotary concentration machine (80), a determiner (91) for receiving an electric signal of concentration (X), detected by the electric power detector (87), of the concentrated sludge and calculating and determining data of the signal, a first controller (92) for receiving a command signal of the result of the determination by the determiner (91) and operating an outer tube driver (86) and a screw driver (85), a proportion setter (93) for receiving a determination signal from the determiner (91) and increasing/decreasing stepwise the rate(&agr ) of injection of flocculant, and a second controller (94) for receiving the command signal from the proportion setter (93) and operating a flocculant supply pump (97). The sludge concentration device concentrates sludge while controlling the injection rate (&agr ), the rotation speed (S) of a screw (39), and the rotation speed (C) of an outer tube screen (21).
