Abstract:
Provided is a slurry that includes carbon black and that is capable of contributing to a reduction in the internal resistance of a secondary battery. Disclosed is a slurry comprising at least carbon black and a dispersion medium, wherein: the carbon black concentration in the slurry is from 5 mass% to 25 mass%; and, in a particle size frequency distribution in terms of volume of carbon black as measured by the laser diffraction/scattering method, when the volume concentration of carbon black having a particle diameter of 0.6 µm or greater is defined as x (%), the volume concentration of carbon black having a particle diameter of 0.3 µm or greater to less than 0.6 µm is defined as y (%) and the volume concentration of carbon black having a particle diameter of less than 0.3 µm is defined as 100-(x+y) (%), 10≤x≤70, 30≤y≤90 and 0≤100-(x+y)≤30 are satisfied.
