Abstract:
Provided are an Sm-Fe-N-based magnet powder and an Sm-Fe-N-based sintered magnet which exhibit high holding power while degradation of saturation magnetization is effectively reduced or prevented. The Sm-Fe-N-based magnet powder contains a powder of an Sm-Fe-N-based magnetic material, wherein the average grain size of the powder is 5 µm or less and the full width at half maximum of a diffraction peak of a (200) plane in an X-ray diffraction profile is 0.0033 Å or less. The Sm-Fe-N-based sintered magnet contains a sintered body of the Sm-Fe-N-based magnetic material, wherein the average grain size of crystal grains of the Sm-Fe-N-based magnetic material is 5 µm or less and the full width at half maximum of a diffraction peak of a (200) plane in an X-ray diffraction profile is 0.0033 Å or less.
