Abstract:

An SMA spring-shear thickening fluid (STF) viscous damper, comprising a first connecting piece (1), a piston rod (2), a left end cover (3), a first damping cavity (4), a damping cylinder (5), a piston (6), a second damping cavity (7), SMA springs (8), a right end cover (9), and a second connecting piece (10). One end of the damping cylinder (5) is provided with the left end cover (3), and the other end thereof is provided with the right end cover (9); the interior of the damping cylinder (5) is divided by the piston (6) into the first damping cavity (4) and the second damping cavity (7); two SMA springs (8) sleeved on the piston rod (2) are respectively arranged in the first damping cavity (4) and the second damping cavity (7); the first damping cavity (4) and the second damping cavity (7) are filled with an STF.
