Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a small electric vehicle which is capable of assisting the motive power of a wheel chair connected thereto, and which is capable of traveling while in an independent state, i.e. a state of being detached from the wheel chair. This folding vehicle 1 is capable of making a wheel chair 101 coupled by a coupling member 61 move in a self-propelled manner using a battery 14 and an in-wheel motor M or the like. Furthermore, the folding vehicle 1 is capable of using the battery 14 and the in-wheel motor M or the like to travel in a self-propelled manner while in an independent state, i.e. a state of not being coupled to the wheel chair 101.
