Abstract:
The present invention provides a small electric vehicle capable of achieving lightness during hand-pushed travel, without hindering electric travel performance. Provided is a small electric vehicle (1) capable of switching from an electric travel state to a hand-pushed travel state, said small electric vehicle being provided with: an auxiliary wheel (123) having a smaller running resistance than driving wheels (43A, 43B); and a variable mechanism (47) that grounds the driving wheels (43A, 43B) on a travel surface (U) and separates the auxiliary wheel (123) from the travel surface (U) in the electric travel state, but separates the driving wheels (43A, 43B) from the travel surface (U) and grounds the auxiliary wheel (123) on the travel surface (U) in the hand-pushed state. The variable mechanism (47) causes the driving wheels (43A, 43B) to float from the travel surface (U) by grounding the auxiliary wheel (123) on the travel surface (U) and switches the small electric vehicle (1) to the hand-pushed travel state from the electric travel state.
