Abstract:
A small fire extinguisher having a rotary knob, of the present invention, comprises: a bottle-shaped body part for storing loaded stream to be sprayed in case of fire; a nozzle part, which is fastened to the upper portion of the body part and has a valve formed inside the center thereof so as to open when a button part is pressed such that a compressed loaded stream can be discharged through an opening on one side thereof, is fastened with a round plate rotary knob at one side thereof, and has a key insertion part formed at the other side thereof and enabling an "L"-shaped key of a lock key to be inserted therein or taken out therefrom; the button part insertively fastened to the upper portion of the nozzle part, and allowing a button to vertically advance into and retreat from the inside of the nozzle part according to the rotation of the plate rotary knob, thereby opening and closing the valve; the round cover-shaped plate rotary knob, which is fastened at one side of the nozzle part by means of a fixing pin, comes in contact with the upper portion of the button part while covering one end of the nozzle part at a predetermined distance, and having the lock key, fastened at the other side thereof, for controlling the rotation of the plate rotary knob; and the lock key, which is fastened to the plate rotary knob, and rotates when a key handle is turned in the clockwise or counterclockwise direction so as to be inserted into or removed from the key insertion part of the nozzle part, thereby enabling the plate rotary knob to stop rotating or to rotate.
