The present invention relates to the field of motors, and in particular to a small-sized motor front end cover fixation structure and a mounting method. The fixation structure comprises a front end cover, a fixed plate, a brush holder plate, and a housing. A recess is provided on a side wall of a front end portion of the housing; a limiting structure located on a side wall of the recess is provided in the recess; the fixed plate is fitted into the recess and axially limited by the limiting structure; a side edge of the front end cover is fitted into the recess, and the front end cover is connected to the fixed plate by means of screws; and a side edge of the brush holder plate is fixed in the recess and located below the fixed plate. In the present invention, the fixed plate is configured and the recess corresponding thereto is machined on the housing, the fixed plate and the front end cover are fixed to provide an axial force for a bearing, and the fixed plate and the front end cover are connected by means of short screws to provide sufficient strength and stiffness; moreover, the fixed plate can be misaligned with the brush holder plate, and does not interfere with the brush holder plate. Thus, the compactness and strength of the structure are improved, and it is convenient to mount.
