Abstract:
A smart card management apparatus and method. The apparatus comprises a main controller (1), a serial peripheral interface control module (2) communicatively connected to the main controller (1), and several card strip control modules (3) communicatively connected to the serial peripheral interface control module (2), each card strip control module (3) being communicatively connected to several smart cards; the main controller (1) is used to acquire smart card access requests and send the access requests to the serial peripheral interface control module (2), each smart card access request comprising smart card identification and card strip identification; the serial peripheral interface control module (2) is used to send corresponding access requests to corresponding card strip control modules (3) in sequence according to the card strip identification; and the card strip control modules (3) are used to access corresponding smart cards according to the smart card identification, and acquire and store execution results of the smart cards for the main controller (1) to poll and read the execution results. The foregoing apparatus may process a plurality of smart cards in parallel, thereby managing large quantities of smart cards and improving the processing efficiency.
