Abstract:
A system (10) and method for monitoring playing cards (200) in a live casino game by reading card attributes stored in each playing card (200) at a player position (PP) with a radio frequency reading system. Each card (200) has a radio frequency identification tag (210) containing at least value and suit attributes. The tracking of the dealt cards (200) to each player position (PP) occurs in sequence and based upon wagers placed monitors play of the live card game according to rules of the live card game.
