Abstract:
A smart green highway system comprising high-speed two-way highway (1) on which vehicles travel in two opposite directions. The middle position of the high-speed two-way highway (1) forms an emergency rescue lane (10) that is provided with dividers (11 and 12) and semi-closed. The present system merges emergency rescue lanes (10) at either side of the high-speed two-way highway (1) into one and provides same at the middle position, thus saving road surface and construction costs. When an accident occurs, the vehicles on the high-speed two-way highway (1) can enter an emergency rescue waiting area in the emergency rescue lane (10) via first and second open entrances (111 and 121), thus increasing the passage capacity of the high-speed two-way highway, increasing the efficiency of rescue and law enforcement, and reducing the risks of secondary congestion and accident caused by disorderly driving and aggravated congestion as a result of the emergency rescue lane (10) being occupied. Only when a vehicle is successfully authenticated by an authentication system (5) can the emergency rescue lane (10) be placed in an entirely passable state, thus ensuring that the emergency rescue lane (10) is not occupied and ensuring passage capacity.
