Abstract:
A smart gripper having an automatic ridge alignment function for a fluid torque converter. The gripper comprises an upper support plate (2) provided with a gripping mechanism, an excitation mechanism, and a drive rotation mechanism thereon. The excitation mechanism comprises multiple pneumatic excitation cylinders (3) and multiple excitation heads (5). The multiple excitation heads (5) are driven to extend and retract alternately by means of alternate actions of the pneumatic excitation cylinders (3). The drive rotation mechanism comprises at least two shifting blocks and at least two guide shafts (9). Upper ends of the guide shafts (9) extend upward beyond the upper plate (2) and are provided with a shaft terminal barrier block (8). Lower ends of the guide shafts (9) have floating connections to the corresponding shifting blocks to form a spherical pair. The smart gripper having an automatic ridge alignment function for a fluid torque converter enables accurate automatic ridge alignment of workpieces and a smooth assembly process of the workpieces.
