Abstract:
The present invention relates to a smart helmet consisting essentially of: a sensing unit; a recognition unit; an oxygen storage unit; a controller; an alarm unit; an oxygen providing goggle unit; and a communication unit. The smart helmet according to the present invention determines whether or not a toxic gas is generated in a closed workspace, ascertains the condition of a worker, transfers a predetermined alarm message to a worker when the worker is not blinking, and provides oxygen to the worker according to an instruction from the controller while simultaneously transmitting a message on the condition of the worker to a control center. Accordingly, toxic gas accidents can be handled effectively and swiftly.
