Abstract:
A smart method and system for collecting vehicle parking fee, comprising: an on-board wireless terminal, on the basis of a parking space booking instruction inputted by a driver, collects a current vehicle location and reports the current vehicle location to an application aggregation platform (101); the application aggregation platform identifies a target parking lot closest to the current vehicle location that has a vacant parking space, and issues a parking space distribution map of the target parking lot, which has the vacant parking space marked thereon, to the on-board wireless terminal (102); the on-board wireless terminal uses any vacant parking space selected by the driver from the parking space distribution map as a booked parking space which is then reported together with a vehicle identification to the application aggregation platform (103); the application aggregation platform generates an encoded parking image which is then outputted to a display that matches the booked parking space, and records the start time for the parking, wherein the encoded parking image comprises the vehicle identification (104); after the on-board wireless terminal has scanned the encoded parking image, the application aggregation platform determines the end time for the parking of the vehicle at the booked parking space, and deducts a corresponding parking fee from an electronic account bound with the on-board wireless terminal on the basis of the parking start time and the parking end time (105). The described method and the system may enable a parking space to be booked in advance, as well as enable unmanned collection of parking fees.
