Abstract:
A smart mirror (100) comprises a glass cover panel (10), a touch screen (20), and a display screen (30). A polarization film (11) is disposed on an upper surface of the glass cover panel (10). A photomask film (12) is disposed along an edge of a lower surface of the glass cover panel (10). The touch screen (20) is disposed at a middle portion of the lower surface of the glass cover panel (10). The display screen (30) is disposed at a lower side of the touch screen (20). An orientation of polarized light of the polarization film (11) is parallel to light of the display screen (30), and therefore, the light can pass the polarization film (11) without loss, increasing brightness of the smart mirror (100). When display screen (30) is turned off, the display screen (30) displays a black color, forming with the photomask film (12) a dark background. When ambient light hits the polarization film (11) at the upper surface of the glass cover panel (10), since the polarization film (11) only allows light in the polarization direction to pass therethrough, 50% of the light is reflected off to produce a mirror effect on the entire glass cover panel (10).
