A smart mirror, using a touch display screen (200) which is external to a mirror body (100) to control a picture displayed by a display module (101) on the mirror body (100). In this way, a user inputs an instruction on the touch display screen (200), which can avoid directly performing an operation on a mirror surface of the mirror body (100), and keep the mirror surface that displays the picture clean and bright; in addition, a customer can see a complete displayed picture, which is not shielded by the user and has no interference information, on the display module (101) on the mirror body (100), thereby improving customer satisfaction. A control circuit (300) can control the display module (101) on the mirror body (100) to display the same picture as the touch display screen (200), i.e. dual-screen display, and can also display a different picture, i.e. split-screen display, in this way, privacy operations, such as inputting a password, can be hidden, and the privacy operations are prevented from being displayed by means of the mirror body (100) to the customer, thereby improving the operation security. Furthermore, the same control circuit (300) is used to control the display module (101) on the mirror body (100) and the touch display screen (200), facilitating maintenance and upgrade.
