Abstract:
A smart optical fiber cable comprises a cable core (1) and an outer protective jacket (2) covering an outer surface of the cable core. The cable core comprises a twisted optical unit (3), insulated wire core (4), and communication cable (5). A shielding layer (6) is disposed between the cable core and the outer protective jacket. A protective layer (7) is configured to cover an outer side of the cable core. Dry fillers (8) are disposed in a gap in the cable core. In the smart optical fiber cable, the optical fiber unit, insulated wire core, and the communication cable are physically separated to prevent interference between transmission signals, ensuring quality and security of output signals, and reducing investment in network infrastructure.
