Abstract:
The present invention relates to a smart window device using cholesteric liquid crystal (CLC), and a control method therefor. The smart window device according to one aspect comprises: a display element; an input device for receiving a control command for the display element; and a control unit for determining, on the basis of the control command, at least one from among the transparency, color, pattern and gradation of the display element and information displayed on the display element.
