Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a smear evaluation and improvement method and an electronic device. The smear evaluation method comprises: a terminal device acquiring a first image and a second image, wherein the first image is an image displayed when a smear exists on a display screen, and the second image is an image displayed on the display screen before or after smearing; the terminal device determining a smear area in the first image according to the first image and the second image; and the terminal device determines a first parameter of the display screen according to the pixel value of a pixel point in the smear area and the pixel value of a pixel point in the reference area corresponding to the smear area in the second image, wherein the first parameter is used for evaluating the degree of smearing of the display screen. The smear evaluation method in the present embodiment can be applied to any display screen, solving the problem that the smearing length and the smear duration currently used when evaluating the degree of smearing of the display screen are not applicable to an OLED display screen.
