Abstract:
The present invention provides a smokeless charcoal roaster whereby meat or fish can be smokelessly grilled while avoiding direct contact of the meat or fish with a flame and preventing water or oil oozing out from the food material from dropping on a heat source such as a charcoal fire. A smokeless charcoal roaster characterized in that a heating element, said heating element being in a definite shape and generating far-infrared rays, is provided within a cooking tool for grilling a food material such as meat or fish and, above the heating element, a grill comprising a raised non-perforated plate part and a depressed perforated plate part is provided in such a manner that the non-perforated plate part of the grill is positioned just above the heating element.
